Margaret Jeffares - Managing Director
Margaret has extensive experience in tourism and hospitality having worked in the industry for 16 years. In 2000 Margaret established herself as a full time tourism marketing and development consultant. Margaret has recently
successfully launched Good Food Ireland.
Hugo Arnold - Associate Consultant
Hugo Arnold, Food Consultant and Journalist is our Guide Editor. Hugo has written extensively on all aspects of food, from ingredients to producers for various magazines and newspapers, including the London Evening Standard, the Daily Telegraph, Food Illustrated and House & Garden. He wrote a recipe column in the Financial Times from 1999 to 2002 and is currently writing for the Irish Times. He won a Glenfiddich Award for his FT column in 2001. Hugo has also written many cookbooks including the popular Avoca Cafe Cookbooks and more recently the Wagamama Cookbook. Hugo is also the editor Food & Wine Magazine.
John Wilson - Wine Consultant
Also a valuable member of the Good Food Ireland in Ireland team is our wine
consultant John Wilson. John is a well-known authority on wine and the
author of the influential Irish Wine Buyers Guide. He writes a weekly
column in the Sunday Tribune and variously for a number of specialist
magazines.
Caroline Workman - Northern Ireland Consultant
Caroline
spent five years working in the restaurant trade before setting up her own
company Food Stuff Ireland, a marketing and training consultancy dedicated
to the speciality food trade. She has been the restaurant columnist for the
Irish News since 1999 and also writes for the Irish Times, The Guardian,
Food & Wine, The Bridgestone Guides and the Time Out Guides.
Susan Kerr – Operations Manager
Susan O'Connor has ten years management experience in hotel sales and marketing. She has also managed front office operations and has a broad knowledge of all aspects of hotel operations management.
Melina Magourty – Sales & Marketing Manager
Melina has worked in the tourism industry for the last 8 years. After graduating in tourism marketing she gained valuable experience in front office and sales & marketing management. More recently she worked in the media before joining Good Food Ireland.
